• Administer your course, including assessment, certification and VTCT Skills registration

• Contact your emergency contact in the event of an emergency

• Adapt our training to meet your individual needs

• Comply with our obligations to VTCT Skills as an approved centre

Our processing of your personal data is based on either your consent, the performance of your training contract with us, or our legitimate interests in operating as a VTCT approved training centre. We will not use your data for any purpose not described in this policy.

Learner records, including enrolment data, assessment records and qualifications achieved, are retained for a minimum of 7 years in accordance with awarding body requirements. Website enquiry data is retained until you ask us to delete it.

All personal data is stored on secure, UK-based servers. Data is transmitted using SSL encryption. We do not transfer personal data outside the UK.

Access to your personal data is restricted to the Director and members of staff who require it to carry out their role. We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

We will not share your personal data with third parties except:

• VTCT Skills — for the purposes of learner registration and certification

• External assessors working on behalf of the academy (subject to a data processing agreement)
