Not to begin. If you're a complete beginner, our Combined Package takes you from zero to fully qualified — it includes the Level 3 Anatomy & Physiology qualification you need before progressing to Level 4. If you already hold a relevant Level 3, you can enrol straight onto the Level 4.
Our courses are open to anyone aged 18 and over.
If you have no prior qualifications, choose the Combined Package (Level 3 + Level 4). If you only need the theory foundation, choose Level 3 Anatomy & Physiology. If you already hold a relevant Level 3, choose Level 4 Laser & Light Treatments. Still unsure? Contact us and we'll point you in the right direction.

All our qualifications are awarded by VTCT Skills, a leading Ofqual-regulated awarding organisation.
Yes. They are Ofqual-regulated and government-recognised, and are accepted by insurance companies and local councils — so you can work legally and get insured once qualified.

Yes — on successful completion you'll receive an official Ofqual-regulated VTCT certificate for each qualification.

The structure and function of the skin, hair, nails and all the major body systems — the essential knowledge that underpins safe, professional laser practice.
The theory is studied through home study and online resources with tutor support sessions and live Zoom Q&As, so you can work around your own schedule. Your two written exams are sat in person under invigilated conditions.
Two external VTCT written exams (90 multiple-choice questions each, 2 hours, minimum 70% to pass, sat under invigilation), plus an internally marked portfolio evidencing pathologies across all 12 body systems. You have up to 3 exam attempts.
It carries 94 guided learning hours (130 hours total qualification time), studied flexibly around your own schedule.
Yes — a relevant Level 3 qualification is required before starting Level 4. If you need both, the Combined Package is the better-value route.

Safe working practice, controlling hazards, client consultation, assessing suitability, planning treatment, and carrying out laser and IPL hair reduction treatments safely and professionally.
A Level 3 qualification in a relevant discipline (such as our Level 3 Anatomy & Physiology). If you don't have one, choose the Combined Package.
Theory and assignments are completed from home, supported by weekly live Zoom sessions with your trainer. You then attend our clinic for hands-on practical training and assessment.
You'll join us for 3 days of practical training and assessment at our clinic. Everything else is done online.
You'll have up to 6 weeks to complete your written assignments.

A reliable internet connection and a device (laptop, tablet or phone). All your learning materials and video content are accessed through our members area.
For Level 4, you'll have weekly live Q&A sessions with your trainer to support your theory learning. You'll be sent the link by email ahead of each session.
The theory is flexible and studied around your own schedule for both levels. You'll need to attend on set dates for the Level 3 written exams and the Level 4 practical days, which are confirmed with you in advance.

Yes — for laser training a patch test must be carried out a minimum of 48 hours before your first practical day. We'll contact you to arrange this and send you the patch test instructions.
Yes — the qualifications are recognised by insurers. Once certified you can arrange treatment insurance to start working with clients.
Carry out laser and IPL hair reduction treatments safely, legally and professionally — whether working for yourself or within a clinic.
